I spend a lot of time worrying about whether or not what I want to write on here is shallow. Because the truth is, I spend a lot of time thinking about dumb things, like haircuts, & lipstick, & television, & celebrities, & what I want to cook for dinner.

My New Year's Resolution for 2013 is to be less hard on myself--in all areas, but to begin with, on this site. If I want to write about it, I will. (Consider this fair warning, dear reader.) After all, the internet isn't necessarily the pinnacle of depth and decorum...
